Looking at the news, I think the once-celebrated author, Neil Gaiman, has no choice but to retire. Look at this headline. How can he carry on?
Hit me with your replies.
Iâve spent more than a reasonable amount of time figuring out how to feel and move past the news concerning my one-time literary hero, Neil…
My top 3 celebrities to meet would include:
Robert Llewellyn (Red Dwarf, Scrapheap Challenge, Carpool). Robert Llewellynâs YouTube content first got me interested in electric cars way back in the day. I had a chance to meet Robert a number of years ago but was too unwell to go. A good friend queued up to get me his autograph. It still hangs on my wall.
Wil Wheaton (Star Trek TNG, The Guild, Eureka). Wil Wheaton played the character I most related to in Star Trek: The Next Generation when I was young. He is also responsible for the revival of my interest in tabletop games that are not also RPGs.
Neil Gaiman (a man who should need no introduction). Neil Gaiman has written a lot of fiction that I thoroughly enjoyed. He is also responsible for some of the best Doctor Who episodes of the modern era. When I get stuck with my writing, I imagine Neil reading it out loud in his unique style. If one part does not fit, it is (99% of the time) the bit that is not working.
