The Monthly Muse was a conversational prompt with a broad question. The idea was simple, you can react right away but you can also reflect and answer again and again as you developed your thoughts on the subject.
Monthly Muses came out on the first day of each month which gives you the whole month to answer and comment on the answers of others. There’s nothing stopping you answering or replying months or even years after the question was asked. Suggestions are welcome via our Mastodon channel or Tumblr account.
We rarely publish Monthly Muses now as they covered the same ground as Question of The Week. We can revisit this at a future date if people want us to. Feel free to answer the iones we have anyway.
When I was learning the basic principles of theatre as a teenager, I was repeatedly told that, when visiting a new venue, always leave it better than you found it. What if we apply that to life? What can you or I do to leave the world a better place (if only ever-so-slightly)?
