Always vote. Spoil your ballot with a message for the candidates (they will see it) if you hate ’em all. But vote. In the UK, candidates get a marked register showing who voted. If you didn’t vote, your concerns can be ignored.
The incumbents fear a large turnout because their safe seat rests on the apathy of those who oppose them.
