There is no one right way to IndieWeb. Right now, for example, right now I am IndieWebbing with this simple Markdown document system that I hand rolled.
Started blogging in 2008, when webrings were important. Moved to social networks (mainly Google+) and came back to my own blogs, self-hosted, around 2017. Both are now fedified (via ActivityPub) and POSSE’d too. Webmentions are important, so both my blogs and Mastodon account are bridged. I do publish long form articles, small « notes » and likes/replies (as this one).
Did a few posts on IndieWeb and POSSE in French too, to explain the concepts in a WordPress context.

My personal IndieWeb presence / experience focuses on long-form and micro posts, along with a links page, all powered by a homegrown CMS and several micro services to provide other IndieWeb functionality such as Webmentions, IndieAuth, and now an ActivityPub experiment which is proving to be tougher to implement than anticipated 😩

@openmentions.com I IndieWeb by replying to things here. I think we use WebMention and ActivityPub. I might start my own blog one day.
