Starting with a toot asking for advice, yesterday saw many changes to the design of openmentions.com. These decorative and explanatory changes are intended to make the primary purpose of the site clearer – combine open web ideas for topic and discussion discovery. I also aimed to leave the site looking a bit nicer.
That is almost entirely thanks to the wonderful people of Mastodon who gave me their thoughts on the site and promptings to take things forward. I am hugely grateful to everyone who replied and/or boosted my request for help.
