What are you reading?
I have recently finished reading Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. When Brandon Sanderson said you can recommend this book to anyone, he’s not wrong. I loved it. Everything that happens in this story flows from what has already happened. As for the friendship at the core of this story, it was utterly compelling.
I am now getting stuck into another volume of Sanderson’s writing, The Stormlight Archive; I’m up to Oathbringer. The series as a whole has kept me interested through many books where the central plot moves glacially, so the local plot has room to breathe. Nothing feels too slow nor too rushed. It takes a bit of reading to get into The Stormlight Archive, but once you do, you can immerse yourself in the world.
